About Us

Welcome to Eighty Seven Store, your independent British bedroom furniture specialist in modern bedside tables, nightstands, and compact bedroom storage essentials.

Our North London Foundations on Blackstock Road

Our practical story began on Blackstock Road in Finsbury Park, North London. Trading as Eighty Seven Store (operating from our familiar local address at 87 Blackstock Road), our independent retail presence grew out of a love for honest British craftsmanship, welcoming community service, and well-designed home furnishings.

For years, locals and London apartment dwellers passing our shopfront have known us by our address—Number 87. We have always appreciated that in modern UK homes and flats, bedrooms are personal sanctuaries where every square foot matters. Finding a bedside table that fits comfortably next to your bed without overcrowding the room—while offering smooth drawers and lasting quality—should not be complicated or overpriced.

The Launch of Our Dedicated Online Bedside Table Store

Too often, high-street furniture chains offer poorly constructed flat-pack nightstands made from fragile boards with confusing assembly hardware and expensive delivery surcharges.

To bring thoughtful, durable bedside furniture directly to homeowners and renters across the country, we launched our official direct-to-consumer online platform—eightysevenstore.com. While proud of our North London streetfront roots, this website operates as our independent digital initiative. Every piece in our digital catalogue is 100% brand-new, factory-fresh, and carefully tested for everyday British domestic living—from mid-century tapered-leg wooden nightstands and multi-drawer storage tables, to compact floating bedside units, flute-fronted cabinets, and modern minimalist tables with copper accents.

Our Independent Merchant Promise

We treat our online customers with the same warmth, transparency, and personal attention that defines our local counter service in London:

  • Factory-Fresh Solid Furniture: Every bedside table arrives brand-new, securely wrapped in heavy-duty transit cartons with reinforced corner cushioning.
  • 100% Free Nationwide UK Delivery: Straightforward pricing with zero carriage fees, remote postcode surcharges, or hidden checkout costs across the UK.
  • 30-Day Hassle-Free Returns: A prepaid return shipping label is enclosed right inside your package, making mail returns simple and completely free if a table doesn't match your bedroom decor.
  • Direct Support from London: Dedicated assistance from our London customer care team whenever you need advice regarding table heights, drawer depths, or assembly fittings.
